This dress is absolutely gorgeous. I had it customized in all black. The quality is top-notch, and the fit is perfect. I highly recommend customizing your dresses and making them your own! Working with the designers is amazing!

I just received this dress and I am so happy with it. The original design was a little too bare for a lady my age, so I worked with the designers to modify the back. They listened and came back quickly with several options. I am very pleased with how my wishes were accommodated. This was my second dress from Venus Dancewear and I recommend them all the time to other dancers.

I used the chat function on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised when Jean & John in customer service helped me find a pre-made Venus Dancewear dress that fit my measurements. I was very lucky as the factory was going to be closed for 2 weeks and there was not enough time for a custom made dress in time for my competition. The dress arrived promptly and was as promised. The dress style and workmanship were well received by my dance studio professional team. The fit was also very comfortable while dancing. I also find their pricing to be reasonable for a product that needs to stand up to being judged for appearance. I highly recommend Venus Dancewear for the serious competitor.

I was nervous at first because when I placed my order the website said 5-10 days for production and then up to 15 days for shipping (comes from Hong Kong). However, when I emailed to inquire about the status after more than 10 days had passed, they got back to me in a very timely manner and assured me that I would have it by the end of November. It arrived November 10th, so that made me very happy. I ordered the dress in a custom color (medium blue), and although the shade is a tad lighter than I imagined when I saw the color swatch on my computer, I still like it. The stoning and stitching are well done, and the bodysuit fits me perfectly! I especially like that the crotch has snaps so I can use the restroom without taking it off. If I ordered this dress again I would take about an inch off all my measurements because I like a tighter fit, but it isn\'t a problem to dance in. The only reason I gave this a 4, rather than 5 stars is because the skirt is about 5 inches longer than the measurements that I gave. Maybe it is supposed to be like that? I don\'t know. It would be very helpful if the photos on the website were of real people wearing the dress rather than a dress form so the customer can get a better feel for how the dress looks on a human. I will definitely order from this company again and recommend it to all my fellow dancers.
