    I took a risk and am happy I did

    I am a repeat customer and never disappointed. Generally, white is not a great color for me but I thought this dress with the black applique should look okay. It looks great! I tried it on and it is a perfect fit (as usual). I haven't danced in it yet but I'm sure this will be perfect for my upcoming Winter solo performance. As guidance to others: the Venus Crystals are great quality. Unless you are a high-stakes pro, there is no need to go with the more expensive Swarovski crystals. On the amateur competition dance floor no one would know the difference. Also, I find the sewn-in cups don't work well for me (not in any ballroom dress, not even those that cost thousands of dollars). I ensure the back of my dresses is high enough that I can wear my own strapless bra without it showing. Venus has always been accommodating in adjusting the back, as needed.
